Singer song writer edition

Last week there was a singer song writer edition at the infamous KLPac. This time it was a 3 days stretch filled with 18 indie talents. We got the powerhouse like Azmyl Yunor, Min’z and Wani Ardy. Others would be like Ian Chow, Jasemaine Gan, Priscilia Xavier and many others. Those that really catch my attentions was Rashdan Harith, Tony Leo, and Devon Chew. Went alone for all three days, but my collogues from fitness first that has some flare in the indie scene came by. Never tot there’s any, but glad that they join me there.

It’s fun watching these indie scene as I feel comfort in their words. They write based on experience, play their own music, own gigs and get their ep done. Some succeed, some doesn’t, but that’s not their aim for. But just a figure of speech and speaking their mind out. Its nice to have fans and friends support, but self expression is good enough towards them. it’s not about money as some of them got a full time job. It’s about art.

Fail to realize that each one of them has their own unique style and things that they constantly write and sing about, some about relationship, some about suffering (my type), about life, and others just for laugh. Manage to get some autograph from my indie heroines and tons of ep and album. It s nice as they are real humble person. Kewl….. hope you the best and don’t go mainstream… it’ll ruins the art….
