Like a Star by Corinne Bailey Rae

Just like a star across my sky,
Just like an angel off the page,
You have appeared to my life,
Feel like I'll never be the same,
Just like a song in my heart,
Just like oil on my hands,
Honour to love you

Still I wonder why it is,
I don't argue like this,
With anyone but you,
We do it all the time,
Blowing out my mind,

You've got this look I can't describe,
You make me feel like I'm alive,
When everything else is au fait,
Without a doubt you're on my side,
Heaven has been away too long,
Can't find the words to write this song,
Your love,

Still I wonder why it is,
I don't argue like this,
With anyone but you,
We do it all the time,
Blowing out my mind,

Now I have come to understand,
The way it is,
It's not a secret anymore,
'cause we've been through that before,
From tonight I know that you're the only one,
I've been confused and in the dark,
Now I understand,

I wonder why it is,
I don't argue like this,
With anyone but you,
I wonder why it is,
I wont let my guard down,
For anyone but you
We do it all the time,
Blowing out my mind,

Just like a star across my sky,
Just like an angel off the page,
You have appeared to my life,
Feel like I'll never be the same,
Just like a song in my heart,
Just like oil on my hands

whats your secret?

The secret of Deva - A story bout Malina and 'Pitic' (real name Raluca Haidu) in their younger years in the popular sport boarding school in Romania called Deva. This school has been the birth of world gymnast champion. They are as young as 6 or 7 years old when they being put in this school with intensive training of an athlete. Imagine that tender age with training regime as hard as military. But then again, thats what you sacrifice to be great. What were we doing at this years?

But imagine at such age, they are so determine that what they want to be. A world class gymnast. Her dad is a miner. As they interviewed him, he said that she might not have a chance as there 3 out of 5 that might get selected, all of them are at par. Immediately, Pitic broke down and cry. She put all of her heart into the sport.

Often she be scold by the coaches. As every stage she proceed, a newer and more harsh coaches she has to face. With all those high tone voice and nasty remarks towards this kids, it simply make them better. But then again behind close doors the new coaches say that they are very good compare to all the other batch. I suppose thats psychology.

Its fun to watch this type of documentaries. Especially when theres kids. Its become so pure. Must watch. ....!

AlJazeera— April 14, 2010 — The Romanian city of Deva is famous for its medieval castle, the legendary gymnast Nadia Comaneci, and for its poverty. Deva is also famous for its sport boarding school which for decades has been training world class gymnasts. An intimate and moving film about innocent dreams and harsh reality and with lots of merciless and sometimes bitter moments that make the viewer aware of what physical exercise really mean

100th already...?

last night as i was copiling my rhymes, it just struck me. Woaw.. fail to realized, I've reached my 100th mark on my self made rhymes. never tot i could see the day. down here is actually my 101th rhyme.but then again, its something to celebrate right..? I've been start to write rhymes since 2003. started off by simply sms poem to all my friends. but now, for any thing that tap my mind and heart.

people always ask me, why emo..? then again i said, why not. happiness issnt the only emotion that we would feel. to some people, its the less type of emotions on an everyday life. but this dosent mean I'm emo 24/7.... that's stoopid... just that most of the blogger don't have this type of background in their content. so i dare to be different. to all my readers of this blog, i would like to say thanks for the encouragement. really appreciate it. while to the haters, keep on hating. thanks for dropping by. see you next post....!

Counting on you (Original Rhyme)

I always look up to you, from the very beginning,
never thought what you up to, is oh so cunning,
made me felt used sometimes, so you would be gaining,
in the end of the day, you're simply sickening..

forgive me for feeling this way,
you wont be sorry, its just another day,
just do as you wish, and say what you may,
let somebody else, pick it up and pay..

i would never want to be, your stepping stone,
you could deal with it, by yourself and all alone,
cause you don't care, if i broke my leg n fall prone
so don't you bother, to call me on your phone....

dedicated to all that feels superior towards me.
but deep down inside, i don't even care a bit bout them.
friends and family.

move out, move out

Last week I got the chance to help two people move houses. Last Friday it was my bos. From flora to penchala. Imagine we had to shift a whole lot of stuff from the 25th floor to a 3 ton truck. It was me, edgar and sarul. Apparently this are the people which always comes and help without asking. They just go. It was fun. We even wanted to go to the lake beside flora. Its big and unexplored. The bos new house is right infront of the mosque. He took a room in that empty house.

Then last Sunday I got the chance to move fizah's house to the house next door. Obviously they had much more furniture and stuff as the whole family stays there. It was fun, helping them out. Really got a great workout out of it. My black t-shirt was literally soak with sweat the best thing that was transferred was the big fridge. It needed at least 6-7 people to get it to the other side. It was so huge, it looked like a transformers to me.

Ive been shifting houses 2 times. Its a lot of work. Sometimes tons of trips too. Helps from friend and family are much appreciated. But if you ask me, all those sweat and tears are worth it. We make time to hang out with friends and know each other better. At least we got a place that we call home..

her baby boi

Just came back from visiting dayang with her new born baby boi name ryan. He is one of the most adorable baby that I ever met. Apparently, I was given the honor to be the first to hold him among all of the FF staff and members (i guess). hueee….! It’s weird, this lil baby didn’t even cry when I hold him up. Usually, babies cry at the first sight of my face.. must be my gotee back then. It seems that it’s like 26 days from his birth. 2 days delayed from the expected date. Dayang didn’t even have contractions. So they have to go with scissors method. Yikes…

still remember when dayang did the ultra sound, sunny would say, "macam alien vs predator douh anak ko"... siot jerr kan..

As we came in the room, dayang was watching tv and a hindi movie on air. With all the belly dancing and such. As edgar was literally glued his eyes to the tv set, I said “OMG, dayang aja ryan tgk belly dancing tuh” lawakz2…!

Edgar and Lyndia tag along with me. The direction given by dayang was so blurry. But manage to get there. Each one of us hold baby ryan. Ed even tot Baby Ryan some key words. When Ed says the word ‘makan’, the baby open his big wide eyes and stayed awake. And when Ed said ‘sleep’ while snoring, the baby really close his eyes. Even dayang was surprised with that trick.

She be leaving to Kuching on thursday. So for those who want to go and see her, plz do b4 that. If not really menyesal nanti.. hueeeeee..... congrats with ur new born sis...!

ps: Ryan, jangan nakal2 tau. Grow up to be the best that you could be...!

only in damansara

Damansara is my adopted city. its not home but I consider it as an escape from reality. The place where i found a carrier, wacky friends, love, laughter and also joy. yeah i travel quite a distant from where i'm at, but its worth it every single trip.. among the weird things that i came across recently are :

'Hujan terkejut di damansara'
- as you see a clear sky up above, suddenly there will be a storm. rain pouring heavily for just like 1/2 and hour...? then it all stop and star shining again. freaky....

DU trainer starlighting oneself
- starlight is consider like a torture to a person. happen to know bout it when i was in the army cadets when i was small. simply put your hand on some1's face. then pull your middle finger and let it go. it hurts really bad and leaves a red mark. apparently the trainers here have nothing to do than tring it on them self with their own hands. gilak...!

blind people doing sign language
- and this is pretty weird. someone suggest to comunicate with a blind person with sign language. i was like.. "how ever they gonna see the sign.? by touching the fingers...?" blind and deaf? felt sorry for that.

well, it only happen here in Damansara. whats your story..?
