i don't know why, but that line kept on sticking in my head these few days. Its been quite hectic for me as i always have to work late after office hours. That's when i start work actually. i missed this particular month. Where we go to mosque for tarawikh, recite quran, mo'ree, qiamulai, and such. Things ain't like it use to be. All we think about now is, what food to buke with, what things to buy for Aidilfitri, how to pretend that you are fasting.. hrmmm... its defeats the whole purpose of Ramadhan. do you think that you deserved raya celabration this year..? what have you been sacrifice a lot aside from stop eating and drinking? and yet you see some people smoke and eat freely. then by hari raya, you will see all these people celebrates it as merry as they can.
a story from the Prophet Muhammad time by my ustazah back in the days. i could still remember it.. there was sahabat on the 1st of aidilfitri wearing a worn out clothes and while eating nothing but a dry bread. as the Prophet ask him, 'why aren't you celabrating?'. the sahabat said ' i don't deserved the celebration. i don't know if any of my prayers was good enough to be accepted by Allah'
but just remember. this month, all the devils and other evil things are kept under lock. reflect back what have we been doing..? theres no instigation from anything except from our own self. that will show if our heart is corrupt or not. Only God knows.
